 The steric hindrance of trityl linker can prevent the attachment of amino acids from racemization.
  2-chlorotrityl chloride resins are highly acid labile, which enables the cleavage of chemical entities under very mild condition such a treatment with dilute TFA/DCM or AcOH/TFE/DCM.
